SYNOPSES

EPISODE 11

Xiaoman convinces her mother to sell the flower shop. Kelvin takes $500,000 from her and hands it from his boss. Anlong. The two men have been using this method to cheat women of their money.

Anlong gets into a fight with Jun and is disfigured. He undergoes plastic surgery and, pleased with Jieren’s work, inquires about having an old scar on his chest removed.

Jieren suspects Anlong may have breast cancer but the latter refuses to believe him.

Zhilin is Anlong’s wife. She had been Jieren’s first love but had dumped him to marry Anlong. They meet again at the hospital.

Guanlin is disappointed when his proposal to help patients with financial difficulty is rejected by Haitian.

Xiwen suggests buying more equipment to cater to overseas patients. With increased revenue from such patients, the hospital can then reach out to those with financial difficulty. Guanlin is grateful but feels pressurized when she tries to gain his love.

Jieren rejects Zhilin’s advances. Sensing the friction, Anlong warns Jieren to behave himself.

Guanlin sees Kelvin with May at a motel in Bintan. He tells Xiaoman.

Xiaoman’s mother asks to see Kelvin for the last time. Xiaoman calls on Kelvin and is thrown out of his house. It dawns on her that she has been conned. (Source: 8 Days)

小曼为帮Kelvin还债，骗曼母为了买屋子付首期卖了花店。Kelvin拿了50万后，将部份钱给了黑社会老大安龙，其实两人串通专骗女人的钱。

放高利贷的安龙被欠债人阿俊寻仇划伤脸，安龙入院整形，却刁难杰仁，连胸膛旧伤都不准留下疤痕，杰仁检查时怀疑安龙有乳癌，劝安龙去X光验血。

漂亮的芝琳是杰仁大学时的初恋情人，追求物质享受的芝琳当年抛弃杰仁，嫁给粗暴善妒的安龙，芝琳见杰仁已名成利就，不惜冒险来纠缠杰仁，差点就被安龙发现，杰仁拒绝和芝琳重拾旧欢，但已引起安龙的猜疑，安龙还警告杰仁不能和芝琳藕断丝连，刚好政邦确定安龙得乳癌，安龙不能接受，认定杰仁串通政邦耍自己，安龙攻击政邦泄愤，被杰仁推倒，安龙扬言找别的医生查证，不是乳癌就要对付两人。

希雯为讨好冠麟，公事上将功劳都推给冠麟这个院长，还说服董事局批准冠麟援助穷困病人的医药费，希雯宁愿当个小女人，连在餐厅点菜都由冠麟作主，但冠麟始终不为所动。

冠麟目睹Kelvin和女人开房，提醒小曼Kelvin很久没来探曼母的病，小曼也联络不到Kelvin，时曼母病危想见Kelvin最后一面，小曼找上门却发现Kelvin有别的女人，Kelvin撕破脸皮推小曼出门，小曼才恍然上了Kelvin的当… (Source: Channel 8 Website)

EPISODE 12

Xiaoman rushes back to the hospital but is too late to share her mother’s last moments. She is so upset that she contemplates suicide. Keeping an eye on her, Guanlin stops her from jumping of the roof.

Xiaoman is in shock; she is given sedatives to calm her down.

Anlong reacts badly to the herbal concoctions he consumes and is hospitalized. Zhengbang discovers that Anlong does indeed have cancer and it is spreading. He recommends the immediate removal of his left breast. Anlong comes to terms with his illness and agrees to be operated on.

Jieren and Zhengbang are surprised Zhilin seems happy that Anlong’s condition is serious. Disgruntled that he has left her only $500,000 in his will, however, she tries to patch up with Jieren.

Xiaoman loses her ability to talk. Doctor Hu tells Guanlin that she needs a psychiatrist to help her overcome her trauma.

Shuyan finds out that the alleged pervert Xiao-ai had met is Xiao-ai’s father, Zheming.

Xiao-ai is Shuyan’s cousin. Shuyan’s aunt and uncle were a loving couple until Xiao-ai was born. Her aunt became so depressed, and Xiao-ai fell so sick that she became retarded. Her uncle could not take the pressure and left home.

Shuyan heeds Jieren’s advice and lets Zheming take Xiao-ai to Australia to lead a new life. ( Source: 8 Days)

小曼接电急奔回医院，却错过与母亲的最后一面，小曼遭受沉重打击，歇斯底里跑上天台，意欲寻死，却被冠麟拦了下来，最后需要注射镇静剂方安静下来。

安龙乱服草药进医院，振邦来告知他乳癌扩散，不动手术会有危险，安龙终于屈服。芝琳来细问安龙病情，却露幸喜神色，杰仁与振邦意外。芝琳偷听到安龙立下遗嘱，却只留下五十万，暗自痛恨。芝琳乘安龙动了手术，来找杰仁，希望可以重燃当年情谊，杰仁宛然拒绝。

小曼在母亲死后，发现得了失语症，冠麟关怀不已。

小嫒放学回家，遇色狼，后书妍去调查，发现对方是当年丢弃小嫒母女的爸爸，哲明。哲明来找书妍，希望可以和小嫒团聚。书妍本来断然拒绝，后来在杰仁的开导和看到顺达和两在父母的关怀下很幸福，又发现哲明对小嫒真的有付出父爱，终于答应让小嫒认回爸爸，让小嫒跟哲明回去澳洲。(Source: Channel 8 Website)

EPISODE 13

Xiwen is unhappy to learn Guanlin has cancelled all his lunch and dinner appointments for the month.

Guanlin puts Xiaoman up at Yifan’s house, in an effort to help her cope with her grief.

Yifan senses that Guanlin likes Xiaoman; he refuses to admit it. He says his only wish is to help her recover.

Guanlin discovers that Xiaoman responds to music. Doctor Wang suggests he use music and dance to help her.

Xiwen is upset when Guanlin keeps turning down her dates.

Xiwen stumbles upon Guanlin taking Xiaoman to a psychiatrist. She makes an excuse to visit Yifan. When she sees Guanlin taking care of Xiaoman, she is overwhelmed by jealousy.

Xiwen confronts Guanlin and rants at him for not appreciating her love. When he rejects her, she threatens to fire Xiaoman and is flabbergasted when he takes the latter’s side.

Shuyan, Zhengbang and Jieren have arranged to go to the Philippines together. Zhengbang cancels his trip to operate on Anlong. ( Source: 8 Days)

希雯来找冠麟，发现冠麟推掉所有约会，心里纳闷。冠麟来找小曼，见小曼盯住煮滚的热粥，却没有反应，不放心之下，带小曼回易凡家同住，秀沅关心欢迎小曼，小曼见房里的音乐盒，有反应，冠麟心里一动。

希雯对冠麟行踪有怀疑，打电话询问，冠麟撒谎骗她。冠麟带小曼去看心理医生，被希雯撞见，兴师问罪，冠麟终于坦白自己和希雯是不可能，希雯气极，要开除小曼，冠麟力保，两人冲突。

振邦来找书妍，让书妍知道自己已经安排了和她一起到山区去，书妍高兴。两人到书店买书，巧遇杰仁，知道杰仁也要到菲律宾去，三人高兴相聚。

芝琳陪安龙来做化疗，又乘机痴缠杰仁，杰仁利用书妍做挡箭牌。安龙后发现自己癌细胞扩散，要尽快动手术。振邦为了这个手术，不能去山区，只好让书妍跟杰仁去。

都冠麟带小曼去学跳舞，小曼没有什么反应，冠麟费尽心机，又要引导小曼，又自己学舞步，小曼看到冠麟为自己暗中跳舞，不禁感动。 (Source: Channel 8 Website)

EPISODE 14

 In the Philippines, Shuyan and Jieren distribute presents to the tribespeople in the mountains and treat their illnesses.

Zhilin keeps a vigil by Anlong’s bed. Upset by the thought of wasting her youth on the gangster, she is filled with regret for dumping Jieren.

Zhengbang hears Zhilin calling Shuyan “Jieren’s girlfriend” and clarifies matters with her. Zhilin is happy that Jieren and Shuyan are not a couple after all.

While at the village, Shuyan falls seriously ill. A concerned Jieren scambles to get her to a hospital.

Chek and his father help Jieren. When their jeep has a flat tyre, Jieren carries Shuyan all the way to the hospital.

Shuyan is moved by what Jieren has done but reminds him that she is Zhengbang’s girlfriend.

Xiwen abuses her authority to get back at Guanlin.

Shuyan and Jieren return from their trip.

Anlong passes away. Zhengbang presumes an upset Zhilin is affected by her husband’s death, but she asserts that she is unhappy about her inheritance. Taken aback, Zhengbang walks away in disbelief. He sees Jieren standing in the doorway with a disgusted face. ( Source: 8 Days)

书妍与杰仁来到山区分送书籍于礼物给村民，看到AH CHEK，拿出世界地图，大家开心不已。两人帮AH CHEK医治AH CHEK弟弟以及帮村民治病，众村民感激。安龙做完胸部，芝琳发现眼前的男人已经没有了当年的魅力，对振邦回忆如果当年选了杰仁，今天的结果就会不一样。

书妍患上骨痛溢血热症，杰仁千辛万苦送书妍到山区医院就医，甚至寸步不离照顾照顾书妍。书妍醒来，知道杰仁为了救自己付出很多，心下感动，但不忘提醒，自己是振邦女友。

希雯公报私仇，在工作上为难冠麟，冠麟生气，但也无奈。冠麟带小曼去学跳舞，起初小曼没有多余反应，后来回家路上遇到下雨，冠麟学着小曼当初雨中跳舞，小曼终于露出微
笑，敞开胸怀在雨中跳起舞来。

书妍与杰仁从山区回来，两人有小尴尬，振邦没有察觉，书妍更是企图找回与振邦之间的感觉。当书妍与杰仁在医院巧遇，杰仁进一步暗示，书妍表面态度。

安龙去世，芝琳激动，振邦本以为芝琳伤心安慰，芝琳却爆出自己是因为安龙只留下五十万给自己，对将来茫然也气安龙。后，芝琳发现杰仁在一旁听到一切。 (Source: Channel 8 Website)

EPISODE 15

Zhilin is upset when Jieren rejects her love. She asks Zhengbang to help her, and he tells her to see the Anlong’s funeral first. 

Xiwen sees Guanlin practising dance moves in the hall and insults him.

She even tells him to confine his intimate moments with Xiaoman to the home.

Guanlin’s mood improves after he dances with Xiaoman. Back home, he confides in Yifan, who tells him true love should not be affected by age.

Planning to propose to Shuyan, Zhengbang chooses a ring. He finds out that Jieren is still in love with her. From a letter, he also discovers how ill Shuyan had been while in the Philippine mountains. He becomes heavy-hearted when he realizes the pains Jieren had taken caring for her.

Zhilin pretends to be drunk and tries to seduce Jieren. He rejects her advance and tells her that he no longer has any feelings for her.

Guanlin arranges for Xiaoman to work in the records room. Xiwen objects. Xiaoman sees them arguing and decides to resign.

Zhilin attempts suicide but still fails to win Jieren’s love.

Shuyan consoles Jieren over Le’s death. Zhilin feels an intense hatred when he admits that he loves Shuyan.

While on her way out of the hospital, Shuyan is knocked down by Zhilin and dragged for some distance by her car. ( Source: 8 Days)

芝琳对杰仁真相告白，可是杰仁完全不领情，之后芝琳要政邦去向杰仁解释，政邦说既然是心声，就没有必要解释，芝琳讲看得出来杰仁喜欢书妍，政邦谓就算是，也会是君子之争，芝琳当下应该做的是去办理安龙的后事。

傻男为了向女友求婚，误吞戒指，政邦帮忙动完手术之后，跟易凡讨论，易凡谓坠入爱河的男人，无论年龄还是智慧，都是一样蠢，其实易凡讲的是冠麟。

冠麟独自在舞蹈室跳舞，开心，希雯来，挖苦冠麟和小曼的忘年之恋，已经超越了院长和护士之间的关系，祝两人好运，希雯离去，冠麟后遇小曼，两人共舞，舞后两人漫步，小曼感激冠麟一路来的照顾，回到家后，冠麟跟易凡谈起自己的心声，还有自己和小曼之间年龄的差距，易凡反而鼓励冠麟继续下去。

政邦挑选结婚戒指，准备向书妍求婚，却发现杰仁对书妍念念不忘，甚至无意中从山区的来信中，发现了书妍当日得了骨痛溢血热症的秘密，之后分别向书妍和杰仁探问，得知杰仁当日在山区曾经悉心照顾书妍，但是自己却什么都没做，有失落。

另一方面，芝琳欲色诱杰仁，不果。

而冠麟安排小曼到医院资料室上班，结果遭希雯强烈反对，小曼为了不让冠麟难做人，唯有辞职。芝琳千方百计制造机会要跟杰仁在一起都不成功，之后甚至还割脉自杀，但是依然得不到杰仁的心。之后，芝琳反而看到书妍和杰仁在一起，结果怀恨在心，开车把书妍撞倒…(Source: Channel 8 Website)

Shuyan loses consciousness after being cast onto the road by the speeding vehicle.

Zhilin is about to flee the accident scene when her car crashes into a tree. Both she and Shuyan are taken to the emergency room. Jieren rushes to Shuyan’s side, snubbing Zhilin.

Jieren notices that Shuyan’s face is in a bad shape and tries to console her.

Zhilin is bleeding internally and needs immediate surgery. Zhengbang cannot bring himself to operate on her but relents after a chat with Guanlin.

Xiaoman insists on moving back to her own home. She is moved when Guanlin spares no effort to help her and even leaves some money for her on the table.

He soon gets her a job at a home for the aged. They feel awkward when a restaurant worker mistakes them for father and daughter.

The incident makes Guanlin reconsider their relationship. He tells Yifan that he does not want to ruin Xiaoman’s life because of his selfish feelings.

A remorseful Zhilin apologises to Jieren and Zhengbang before being taken into police custody.

Xiwen asks Haitian to replace Guanlin; Haitian refuses. In the midst of their heated exchange, Haitian suffers a heart attack. Xiwen abuses her authority and orders the staff to tend to him before anyone else. As a result of the delay, Wang Hui’s wife dies. (Source: 8 Days)

芝琳妒火中烧，开车撞书妍，开车逃离现场的时候，反而自己撞上货车。书妍与芝琳一起被送进急诊室，杰仁与振邦闻讯赶到。芝琳状况严重，需要振邦操刀动手术。

杰仁来找振邦帮芝琳做手术，杰仁怕自己不能做到，拒绝杰仁，冠麟看到。冠麟来对振邦晓以大义医院就医，振邦终于决定帮芝琳做手术。

小曼坚持搬回家自己住，冠麟劝止无效，唯有让小曼学习独立。冠麟介绍小曼到老人院工作，一切顺利，两人到餐厅用餐，活计误以为两人是父女，冠麟与小曼尴尬，冠麟更是受到冲击，决定和小曼的关系拉上煞车。

芝琳为自己的过错来向书妍道歉，奈何书妍未醒，振邦与杰仁均冷淡对待，芝琳最后终于被警察带走了。

希雯与海天打高尔夫，希雯要换掉冠麟，海天不答应，两人争执，海天心脏病发作。在医院，有病人已经被安排动心脏手术，希雯却挪后病人手术，让海天先做，结果病人病发死亡，病人丈夫欲打希雯，冠麟帮希雯挡了一拳，希雯来谢，冠麟训了希雯一顿。(Source: Channel 8 Website)

Wang Hui flies into a rage when Xiwen turns up with a cheque.

Rejecting Guanlin’s advice to compensate Wang Hui, as that would tarnish the hospital’s reputation, Xiwen urges him not to tell Haitian what she has done, as that would affect his recovery.

Shuyan is upset to see her disfigured face. She rejects Zhengbang’s proposal of marriage. Jieren urges him to give her more time to get over the trauma.

Wang Hui sues the hospital for malpractice. The court adjourns the case pending the outcome of further investigation.

Guanlin urges Xiwen to map out a compensation package, but she will not hear of it. She is confident Wang Hui will not win the case.

Put off by Xiwen’s behaviour, Guanlin resigns. The staff pities him, as the fault lies with Xiwen, not him.

Jieren is confident he can help Shuyan regain her looks. On her part, she needs to deal with her traumatized emotions. With Xiao-ai’s help, Jieren manages to get Shuyan to agree with the operation. Shuyan regains most of her looks and eventually agrees to marry Zhengbang.

Xiaoman is grateful when Guanlin buys the flower shop back to her.

Wang Hui takes Xiwen hostage. Zhengbang tries to intervene. Taking the brunt of a hard knock on his head, he goes into coma.

希雯送支票到辉妻的灵堂，反而遭王辉恶言相对，冠麟及时赶来，替希雯解围，之后冠麟提议给王辉补偿金，希雯反对。

政邦替书妍拆线，小雅有大反应，书妍见，当晚找到镜子，终于见到自己的“毁容”，震惊，被政邦发现，政邦趁机向书妍求婚，可是书妍因为自己的容貌而陷入自我封锁之中，杰仁见状，劝政邦要有耐性，多给书妍一些时候去适应一切。

王辉控告希雯和医院害死自己的老婆，官司展延，冠麟再提议跟王辉庭外和解，希雯不肯，王辉怨恨，恫言不会就此罢休。

冠麟对希雯的所做所为反感，决定向海天辞职，众人知道冠麟要离开医院，皆认为冠麟应该去争取，然后惩罚希雯这个罪魁祸首。

小曼前来探冠麟，两人共舞、进餐，感情更进一步。

书妍仍然没有振作起来，杰仁认为自己有信心可以帮书妍整容，让对方逐渐恢复往日的容貌，但是更重要的是心病还要心药医，于是政邦把小嫒找回来，希望对方的出现可以开解书妍，结果书妍答应动手术，之后容貌逐渐恢复，政邦再求婚，书妍终于答应，杰仁唯有眼巴巴的看着自己为他人做嫁衣裳，自己内心难受。

冠麟买下花店，让小曼打理，小曼感动不已，终于在母亲的灵位面前，肯定了自己和冠麟的关系。

另一方面，王辉挟持希雯，欲帮老婆报仇，政邦为救希雯，被王辉打伤头，昏迷，而冠麟则被王辉推到栏杆，正准备推下楼时，小曼赶到，见场面，竟然喊出声来… (Source: Channel 8 Website)

Guanlin falls and loses consciousness.

Shuyan is about to undergo another operation when she learns Zhengbang is in the ICU with a bad concussion.

Guanlin’s condition is serious and he needs surgery urgently. However, there is insufficient AB blood in the hospital. Xiaoman donates her blood and alleviates the crisis.

Xiwen is filled with regret. She agrees to let Xiaoman take care of Guanlin in the ICU.

Wang Hui learns about Guanlin’s and Zhengbang’s conditions and is remorseful.

Xiwen visits the comatose Guanlin and apologises. Even though Wang Hui has forgiven her, she feels bad that the Wangs will never have a complete family because of her.

Xiaoman overhears Xiwen’s words and is touched. Nonetheless, she refuses to return to the hospital and opts, instead, to focus on her shop.

Zhengbang comes round but does not remember anything or anyone. He gets annoyed with Shuyan for trying to jolt her memory.

 Guanlin comes round too. He accepts Xiaoman’s love.

小曼亲眼见冠麟被王辉推下栏杆，惊吓间终于可以开口讲话，冠麟头撞上石块造成脑瘀血，小曼在A&E把冠麟从死亡边缘抢救回来，还捐血让冠麟能顺利的开刀取出瘀血，并要求希雯让自己到ICU照顾冠麟。

可是动手术后冠麟始终昏迷，希雯内疚的痛改前非，除了帮被逮捕的王辉家人，并祝福冠麟醒来后可以和小曼在一起。

政邦被王辉袭击后昏迷，书妍放弃做整容手术，专心的照顾政邦，杰仁也不断在精神上支持书妍，可是当政邦醒来竟然失忆，想不起往事的政邦每每“回想”都觉得头痛，所以对想尽办法帮自己恢复记忆的书妍产生“反感”，还用吃东西来逃避记忆，书妍虽然伤心，却始终不离不弃的照顾政邦。

小曼一再用“音乐”的刺激下，冠麟不但手术顺利，还从昏迷中苏醒，冠麟醒来后终于大胆的向小曼剖白，就在两人的情侣关系稳定下来，冤魂不散的Kelvin又为了钱来纠缠小曼… (Source: Channel 8 Website)

Reminded of her late mother, Xiaoman breaks down. Kelvin demands money from Guanlin.

Guanlin’s sight has been affected by the recent operation. He needs more surgery, but that may cause him to lose his sight permanently. He is advised to stop working.

Guanlin tenders his resignation and tells Xiwen about his condition. He urges her not to let Xiaoman know.

Shuyan continues to work on Zhengbang’s memory. He begins to remember bits and pieces about himself and his work but has no recollection of Shuyan.

Zhengbang is happy when he passes the medical board examination and can practice again. However, he keeps his distance from Shuyan. When he tells her that his work is most important to him now, she realizes they no longer share the same goals.

Jieren consoles the despondent Shuyan and assures her that he will always remain by her side.

After hearing Zhengbang say she is a source of stress for him, Shuyan returns the ring and leaves.

Zhengbang calls on Shuyan. Reading a letter from her, he drops the ring, which bring back his lost memory. (Source: 8 Days)

Kelvin再度出现，纠缠小曼，向冠麟要钱，冠麟愤而报警抓人。与此同时，冠麟也发现自己遭撞击后留下后遗症，可能失明，于是辞去院长职位。书妍为唤起政邦的记忆，不惜安排一切，政邦逐步记起自己的身份以及工作上的一些本能，可是对于书妍，却还是全无印象。

政邦终于通过医药评估，重新被接受回来当医生，兴奋无比，可是却明显地与书妍保持一个距离。后来，书妍无意中从政邦口中听到自己带给他太大压力。书妍心灰意冷，将戒指退还政邦，开始萌生去意。政邦后来终于想起一切，可惜已经太迟，书妍已经离去。(Source: Channel 8 Website)

Guanlin is about to set off for America for eye treatment when Kelvin kidnaps Xiaoman and demands $500,000.

Guanlin fights with Kelvin. As a result, his eye condition is aggravated. Kelvin is arrested, and Guanlin and Xiaoman eventually leave for America. Zhengbang has regained his memory, but Shuyan is no longer around. He and Jieren head for the mountains to look for her, and find themselves helping earthquake victims.

Meanwhile, Shuyan is in the vicinity, helping military troops in their rescue operations. She enters a highly unstable building.

Zhengbang rushes in after her, and both end up nearly buried in the rubble when the building collapses. They survive with minor injuries and are reunited.

Zhengbang proposes to Shuyan yet again. Just then, another part of the building collapses. Zhengbang’s leg gets trapped. Shuyan calls frantically for attention and succeeds in getting them rescued.

Six months pass. Jieren has helped Shuyan regain her looks.

Yifan announces that Guanlin has recovered and decided to join Doctors Without Borders with Xiaoman, whom he has married.

Just as everyone is in a celebratory mood, Xiwen announces that they should prepare for an emergency: There has been a shipyard explosion. (Source: 8 Days)

冠麟得知可前往美国医治眼睛时，Kelvin却以绑架小曼勒索冠麟50万，Kelvin还警告报警就杀了小曼，冠麟只好单枪匹马拿赎金去救人，Kelvin故意在冠麟面前要拍小曼的裸照，冠麟和Kelvin拚老命却被打到眼疾恶化，幸亏警察赶来将Kelvin绳之以法。小曼感动冠麟的深情，誓言自己是冠麟的眼睛，并陪伴失明的冠麟去美国治疗。

政邦恢复记忆后，书妍却已失望离开，政邦找不到书妍的下落而陷入痛苦中，杰仁提起书妍可能躲到山区行医。政邦和杰仁赶到山区找书妍，刚好发生地震，杰仁和政邦投入救援工作，政邦遇到参加赈灾的书妍，见书妍困在崩塌的房内，政邦奋不顾身的冲入，2人被活埋在废墟下，在死神面前政邦仍拿出戒指再次向书妍求婚，废墟因余震又崩塌，政邦为救书妍反被桌子压住，政邦叮嘱救援部队一到要书妍先逃离灾场，可是生死相随的他们始终不离不弃，终于杰仁带了民防部队从废墟中救出两人。

半年后，杰仁为书妍整容成功，要给政邦一个完美新娘，易凡也带来冠麟眼睛复明，并和小曼结婚的喜讯，希雯却告诉众医护油船爆炸，众医护又投入日复一日、年复一年的救援工作… (Source: Channel 8 Website)
