	SYNOPSES

	EPISODE 21
	Hanzhe and Zengtu recognize they are both giving Xiyi the same present and feel awkward. Zengtu tries in vain to entice Xiyi to return to Jin Le. Huijun too is unable to persuade her. Zengtu overhears Wanqi quarreling with Zhongxian over the phone. He learns Zhongxian has lost billions in overseas investments. It is Tianfa’s wife, Lichang’s death anniversary. Huihun turns up to pay her respects, and Tianfa flies into a rage. Huijun remembers how Jia Yi and Tianfa were the best of friends. When she and Lichang were pregnant, the two families even wanted to betroth their children to each other. Jia Yi helped out at Tianfa’s restaurant. One day, Jia Yi got into a fight while gambling. In going to his aid, Tianfa injured his own hand. Unable to hold the wok, he taught Jia Yi all his cooking secrets. The Jias became greedy and attempted to cheat Tianfa of a sum of money. Tianfa discovered it. A confrontation ensued, and in the tussle Lichang and her baby were killed. Devastated, Tianfa cursed the Jias at Lichang’s funeral. Xiyi visits Zengyue, and meets Zengtu and Wanqi as well. Wanqi declares that both Xiyi and Zengyue are to blame for the breakdown of their marriages. Huijun has forgiven Zengyue but cannot bring herself to tell the latter to move back home. (Source: 8 Days) 瀚哲和增土同时送巧克力来探曦怡，情敌见面，分外尴尬。增土向曦怡说三间素食馆已经关闭，洪海还虎视眈眈地想要入股金乐，希望请得动曦怡回金乐效劳。曦怡婉言谢绝，增土失望。增土探望贾母，为请不动曦怡回来而向贾母致歉，偶然听到宛其在电话中发脾气，从宛其口中得知仲贤投资失利，主席之位不保。陈添发妻子死忌那天，贾母带了祭品来拜祭，企求原谅、宽恕。陈添发也来拜祭妻子，怒将贾母的祭品扫落在地上，并将贾母赶走，说他心中的恨，这辈子永远都不能消除。贾母沮丧地走在路上，回忆起50多年前的往事。贾一和陈添发情同手足，两人的老婆同时怀有身孕，两人还笑言，如果是一男一女，就可以结为亲家。贾一得到陈添发的提携，在陈添发的餐馆帮忙。一次，贾一与某赌徒起冲突，动起刀子，陈添发替贾一挡了一刀，伤了手臂。养伤其间，手不能拿镬铲，就把煮炒工夫传授给贾一，由贾一掌厨。贾一夫妇见餐馆生意好，起了贪念，私吞了一些钱。添发发现后，两人起了冲突，贾一一时失手，把陈添发的妻子推倒在地上，重物掉下，打中了添发妻。添发妻子下葬当天，添发悲愤的诅咒贾一将来必定绝子绝孙，无人送终。曦怡来探增悦，见增土和宛其都在，明白增悦是在替增土制造机会。饭后，三个女人坐在露台上聊天。增悦为增土说好话，希望曦怡能原谅增土过往的不是，重修旧好。宛其率直地说出她的想法，觉得增悦和曦怡之所以搞到要离婚，本身多少都应该负一些责任。增悦错在不该对奇才管得太严，令奇才更想往外偷腥。而曦怡对增土又太过放纵，造成他一次又一次的搞外遇。曦怡若有所悟，对增土的态度也略有改变，令增土萌生希望。宛其劝贾母原谅增悦，让增悦搬回家住。贾母心中虽然早已原谅增悦，但表面上却不显示出来。在超级市场巧遇增悦时，对增悦仍是一副冷冰冰的样子，令增悦失落不已。曦怡感冒请假在家。瀚哲来探曦怡，见曦怡在吃饼干，心疼的亲自下厨，为曦怡煮粥，还帮曦怡吸尘打扫房子。曦怡看在眼里，心中感动不已。 (Source: Mediacorp Website)

	EPISODE 22
	Zhongxian turns up in Singapore unexpectedly. He calls on Hong Hai and proposes taking Jin Le together. Hong Hai calls on Zengtu and tells him he will set up rival restaurants near three of Jin Le’s outlets unless he is allowed to become a partner in the business. At further threats to run Jin Le down, Zengtu throws him out of his office. Zengtu confides in Xiyi, but there is nothing she can do. Hong Hai vies with Jin Le for customers and poaches its chefs. Zengtu panics at Wanqi’s estimation that Jin Le can hold out for a mere three months. Hearing about the crisis, Zengyue suspects there is a mastermind behind Hong Hai’s hostile moves. She suggests cutting expenditure and staff, but Zengtu prefers to approach Zhongxian for help instead. Zengyue objects, as Wanqi and Zhongxian have agreed never to involve their respective families in any business dealings. Zhongxian dupes Zengtu into mortgaging 30 per cent of Jin Le’s shares to him. Xiyi objects to Zengtu keeping the matter from Huijun. Paul arrests a suspect named Chris, the eyewitness who saw Jessie’s murder. Ruoqi finds out Qicai is not Jessie’s killer. (Source: 8 Days) 宛其吃早餐时，仲贤回来，表示想念宛其，所以打算留下来多住几天。宛其和仲贤回房后，问仲贤是不是因为股权亏损而来此避难。仲贤没否认。宛其见仲贤言谈间似乎不肯认输，还想着怎么翻身，不禁暗暗叹息。仲贤约见洪海，自我介绍，开门见山的指出洪海想吞掉金乐，可惜财力不足，愿意助洪海一臂之力。洪海踌躇满志地来找增土，出示三份租约书，表示要在金乐最赚钱的三间酒楼附近再开三间餐馆抢金乐的生意。如果增土坚决不肯让他入股金乐，他会一间一间的打下去，让金乐从10间变成一间，最后一无所有。增土告知曦怡洪海准备再多开三间餐馆来打击金乐的事。曦怡望着无助的增土，有点同情，但也表示爱莫能助。增悦知道金乐面临危机，问增土有何对策。增土苦笑。增悦提出开源节流，把多余的员工裁掉以减少开支。增悦疑惑洪海不可能如此精明，怀疑背后有人在教唆。增土提出想找仲贤帮忙解决金乐的事。增悦反对，说宛其曾经说过，亲家归亲家，不希望贾杜两家有商业上的纠葛。增土与仲贤喝酒解闷，告诉仲贤金乐的危机。仲贤奇怪增土为何不寻求外援资金。增土说父母一向反对向银行贷款，搞不好赚来的钱只够还利息。仲贤表示同情增土难处，很想无条件借钱给增土度过难关。但碍于家族集团还有父亲叔叔，不能私自把钱借给增土，除非增土以金乐的股权作为抵押才好交代。他愿出高于市价两倍的价钱收购增土和增悦共30％的股权。两人成交。仲贤交代别让宛其和贾母知道此事。增土同意，因他也不想让贾母操心。增土向曦怡说出他和增悦把股权卖给仲贤的事，想要筹集资金再开三间餐馆，恢复原有的10间餐馆，给贾母一个惊喜。曦怡觉得有点不妥，增土不应该没和贾母商量就草率地作出决定。增土不以为然。若其工作，Paul进来说抓到因抢劫而误杀老妇的嫌疑犯Chris，此人说他曾目睹Jessie被杀的整个过程，真正的凶手并不是奇才，而是另有他人。 (Source: Mediacorp Website)

	EPISODE 23
	Chris testifies that Hong Hai was the one who killed Jessie. Denying this, Hong Hai claims Chris often asked Jessie for money and was chases away from the restaurant. Yabin testifies that Hong Hai was at home the afternoon Jessie died. As there is no evidence to prove Hong Hai’s guilt, Paul has to release him. Hong Hai admits to Yabin that he killed Jessie, to stop her from extorting money from him. The Hongs decide to sell their business and leave the country. Zhongxian grabs the opportunity to buy it cheaply and re-sell it to a Chinese company for a huge profit. Zengtu’s relief is palpable when Hong Hai’s chang is turned into a steamboat restaurant chain. He tells Zhongxian he wants to redeem the share he has mortgaged. Fengyi comes to terms with the reality that one cannot love to order. She urges Xiyi to accept Hanzhe’s love, even though she knows Xiyi cannot forget Zengtu. A jewellery shop is burgled. Ruoqi goes through the closed-circuit tape and discovers Yabin was at the shop the day Jessie was killed. He gets the Hongs extradited from Australia. They plead guilty, and Qicai is released. Qicai turns up at the Jias’ and is surprised that Huijun is forgiving. Zengyue, however, is less than pleased to see him at her doorstep. (Source: 8 Days) 目击证人Chris指证洪海是杀害Jessie的真凶。洪海矢口否认，反指Chris因为常常来餐馆找Jessie要钱，被其轰走，因此怀恨在心故意诬蔑他。加上他有雅斌当时间证人。若其在证据不足之下，只好把洪海放了。兄妹俩担心迟早东窗事发，决定把三间厨御卖掉，拿了钱逃到澳洲去。仲贤趁机杀价，以低于市场价的一半顶下洪海的三间餐馆，再把餐馆转卖给别人，一转手之间，就让仲贤赚进了几百万。凤仪终想通感情的事是不能勉强的，认为阿哲在各方面的条件都要比增土好很多，对曦怡更是情深一片，鼓励曦怡不要错过机会，应该接受阿哲的追求。曦怡心中仍难以取舍。某金庄被劫，若其负责调查此案时，从金庄的闭路电视里看到雅斌在金庄购买首饰，日期正是Jessie被杀的那天下午，而雅斌之前所作的口供（指案发当天，她和洪海一直都在家里没出去过），根本就是谎言。若其握有了证据，立刻采取行动，安排将洪海兄妹从澳洲引度回来。洪海兄妹在证据确凿之下，只好认罪。奇才因而获得释放。奇才走出了监狱，没见到有人来接他，感慨万千，为自己的所做所为感到羞愧不已。奇才带着一颗赎罪的心，来到贾家，跪求贾母的原谅。贾母原谅了奇才，愿意把他当一家人看待。奇才感激落泪，问起老婆孩子，获知玉其入狱，增悦已离家多时。奇才晴天霹雳，感叹狱中数月，人事已非。增悦购物回来，见到奇才站在门口，大感震惊。 (Source: Mediacorp Website)

	EPISODE 24
	Zengyue refuses to let Qicai enter her house. Xiyi meets Zhongxian at a bookshop and learns about Jin Le’s financial problems. He tries in vain to get her to sell him her five per cent share in Jin Le. Xiyi recognizes that Zhongxian is not one to be trifled with. Worried, she reminds Zengtu to make sure the terms of his mortgage are properly set, so that he can buy the shares back. Zengtu remembers he has yet to sign the contract. Zhongxian stalls for time. Qicai keeps a vigil outside Zengyue’s house for several days. Eventually, he forgives him and takes him to Zengtu. Qicai is willing to work at Jin le regardless of salary. The couple’s reconciliation gives Zengtu hope for himself and Xiyi. He asks Xiyi out and hands her air-ticket to Paris, their honeymoon destination, begging for a last chance. Xiyi makes the decision to return to Zengtu. She leaves for the airport after apologizing to Hanzhe. Along the way, she meets with an accident. (Source: 8 Days) 增悦见到奇才出现，情绪激动地把门关上，不让奇才入屋。奇才百般哀求，死赖在门外不走。增悦无可奈何。曦怡逛书局遇到仲贤。仲贤托词有朋友愿以高价收购金乐的股权，问曦怡可有兴趣将手中百分之五的股权出售。曦怡说股权是贾母所给，想留着作纪念。曦怡对仲贤起疑，提醒增土要与仲贤立下协议书，讲清楚股权是抵押而非出售。免得将来想赎回股权时，仲贤不认帐。增土被曦怡一说，心中忐忑不安地急找仲贤立协议书。仲贤却敷衍之。奇才几天几夜守在增悦家不肯离去，以饼干和矿泉水充饥。增悦无奈地让奇才入屋。奇才痛哭流涕地诉说他在监狱里对妻儿的思念，觉悟以往的过错，深深地体会增悦在他心中的重要性，希望增悦可以给他一个悔改的机会。增悦终于心软，原谅了奇才。增悦陪奇才来找增土。奇才愿意将功赎罪，不计酬劳重回金乐掌厨。增土喜出望外，又见奇才和增悦和好如初，心中不无感触。增土约曦怡吃饭，告之奇才重回金乐的好消息，并希望曦怡也能像增悦原谅奇才一样原谅他。如果曦怡不肯给他机会，他将终身不娶。最后，增土拿出飞往巴黎的机票给曦怡，要曦怡与他一起回到两人度墼碌牡胤剑一氐蹦甑奶鹈凼惫狻? 曦怡几番思量之后，带着歉意向瀚哲坦诚她割舍不下和增土的感情，决定再给增土一次机会，随他到巴黎寻回往日甜蜜的时光。瀚哲觉得这样对他不公平。他只输在认识曦怡太迟，被增土捷足先登。曦怡只能对瀚哲说对不起。当曦怡提着行李，准备搭德士到机场与增土会合时，不料被一辆失控的摩多车撞到。 (Source: Mediacorp Website)

	EPISODE 25
	Xiyi is hospitalized. Zengtu presumes she has chosen to be with Hanzhe and leaves with a heavy heart. Xiangyun recovers and avoids Ruoqi. He waits three days at the clinic before he gets to see her. She explains that in spite of being in a coma, she could hear him talking by her bedside. She knows how he has maligned Yuqi and caused him to end up in prison. When he refuses to own up, she leaves him. Zhongxian discovers that a Chen Tianfa owns 10 per cent of Jin Le’s shares. He tries in vain to find out from Wanqi who the main is. Xiyi undergoes surgery and is told she may be paralysed for the rest of her life. Zengyue regrets vying for the family fortune and indirectly causing the deaths of Zengmu and Guiying. Huijun forgives her. Zengtu returns from France. He looks Xiyi up but leaves after seeing her with Hanzhe. (Source: 8 Days) 曦怡由于闪避不及，被一辆失控的摩托车重重地撞倒地上。瀚哲正好赶到，见状大惊失色，马上随救护车护送曦怡入院急救。另一方面，增土在机场等不到曦怡，以为她选择了瀚哲，黯然登机离去。一日，若其发现湘云的病房里人去楼空，大吃一惊。护士解释说：病人向医院要求，不能透露她的新病房的房号。“小姐，你可能搞错了，我是她的未婚夫，她不会避开我的。”，护士歉然一笑：“那就对了，欧小姐特地交待，更加不能跟你说她的去处。”若其望着走出病房的护士的背影，顿时感到迷惑不已。他不明白湘云为何要躲避他。若其好不容易在X光室外等到祥云。然而祥云见到他之后，态度却显得非常冷淡，“我每天都在这里等，已经等了3天了，你却这样对我！到底发生了什么事？” 原来湘云昏迷的时候，其实意识却是很清醒的。若其每天在床沿伴她的时候所说的每一句话，她都听得一清二楚：“我们都是警察，都知道人生除了爱情，还要有很多东西…包括正义！我没有想到你会变成这样！为了报复，你执法犯法，妨碍西方公正…… 玉其是无辜的，他是你的好兄弟，你可以这样对他吗？”她劝若其去自首，还玉其清白。若其面露难色，因为他明白，执法人员知法犯法，罪加一等，自己的前程也随之毁了，何况他仍然认为，做错事的是增悦，他不需要为她付出代价！ “你真的不去自首？” “ 绝对不会！”若其坚决地拒绝她。湘云深深地看了他一眼，气愤地推着轮椅掉头而去，抛下既气愤有懊恼的若其。仲贤骗取不到曦怡手上的金乐股权，心有不甘，后来查悉一名为陈添发的外人手里，竟然也拥有金乐百分之十的股权，于是便想从宛其的口中试探她的下落，以便说服此人转让股权。“我们结婚前约法三章，说好不谈彼此的公事，今晚你好像越界了喔？”仲贤担心妻子起疑，只好作罢。瀚哲日夜守候动完手术的曦怡。由于摩托车的撞击力太强了，伤到曦怡的脊椎，可能影响到她腰部以下的神经，导致半身不遂：“我们还需要观察, 机会是50对50。”瀚哲听了医生的分析，脑里顿时感到五雷轰顶。曦怡苏醒之后，发现自己可能终生瘫痪，一时之间无法接受这个事实，不禁嚎啕痛哭。瀚哲为有把曦怡紧紧地拥抱在怀里。奇才把增悦照顾得无微不至，增悦这才体会到女人真正的幸福所在。她开始懊悔当初和家人争名夺利，间接害死增木与贵莺，并且让贾母不谅解。奇才安慰增悦，情之所至，金石为开，贾母一定会原谅她的。增悦买了早餐去公园给做晨运的母亲。贾母开始不理会她。后来心有不忍，叫她留下来一起吃粥。增悦明白母亲已经原谅她，喜出望外。增土从法国回来，一直找不到曦怡，不禁闷闷不乐。宛其见状，十分同情这个小叔。增土和宛其回贾家陪贾母吃饭，惊见贾母叫了增悦和奇才夫妇俩回家共进晚餐，知道贾母和增悦已经冰释前嫌，两人都为她们母女俩高兴。增土在得到增悦的鼓励下，再上门找曦怡。谁知道却看到接了曦怡出院的瀚哲一副“祝家男人”样地为她煮粥。增土误会曦怡和瀚哲的关系已经确定，只好含泪离去。曦怡有口难言，在增土离开后，眼泪簌簌流下。 (Source: i-weekly)

	EPISODE 26
	Jiansheng has just been released from prison. He is on his way to pay respects to his dead father when he bumps into Wang Yixin. She drops an envelope full of comic books. Lu Xiaofen mistakes Jiansheng for a thief. Yixin's mother, Qing-sao, chides her for being muddleheaded. She becomes concerned when Bai Cai announces Xiaofen has offended an ex-convict. Jiansheng sees Xiaofen again, and her pen reminds him of a childhood pal. Jiansheng is disturbed by a notice in the newspaper inserted missing person by his mother, Esther. She had wanted to leave home with her two sons, but her husband objected and she finally left only with Jianwei, leaving Jiansheng to fend for himself. Jianwei is attracted to Joeann. Jiansheng is embarrassed when Yixin sees him being insulted by the chef. She does not seem to mind that he is an ex-convict. Uncle Qing hires Jiansheng. Xiaofen is stunned to see him in her father's restaurant. (Source: 8 Days) 增悦在增木灵前承诺，将视若其为己出，可是若其却为了增悦搬回贾家的事大发脾气，更对贾母扬言要离开贾家。湘云不耻若其为报复增悦而陷害玉其，痛斥来接自己出院的若其，认为最无辜的受害者是入狱的玉其，若其得不到湘云的谅解后，行事更加偏激。仲贤以回台湾为借口，拖延不把股份卖回给增土和增悦。另一方面，他见若其和增悦势同水火，故意对若其说增悦重回贾家是想再回金乐掌权，并怂恿若其卖掉股份，以巩固宛其在金乐的地位，方便牵制增悦。曦怡隐瞒自己受伤、得长期坐在轮椅上的事，使增土误会曦怡选择和瀚哲在一起。凤仪觉得曦怡应该选择多情的瀚哲，鼓励瀚哲加油，可是曦怡心里始终放不下增土。瀚哲细心照顾曦怡，陪曦怡做物理治疗。曦怡却要自力更生，坚持要瀚哲让自己独自去逛街，坐在轮椅上的曦怡在超级市场买东西时却碰见了增土。 (Source: Mediacorp Website)

	EPISODE 27
	Xiaofen is unable to make her father change his mind about hiring Jiansheng. Bai Cai and Qing-sao are both worried when Jiansheng announces he had been a cook while in prison. Yixin takes Jiansheng to Aili's house, and he rents a room. Jiansheng hears Jianwei calling Esther 'Mum' and realizes that he is his brother. Jianwei meets Joeann again and learns she is an air stewardess. When his girlfriend, Tracy, returns from the States and starts work in Esther's company, he treats her coldly. Jiansheng's friend Daxiong offers him a job in his karaoke lounge. He turns it down. To Bai Cai's disgust, Jiansheng gives Xiaofen a pen. Daxiong takes a drunk Jiansheng home. Aili and Yixin are not pleased. Yixin is sad that her mother pines for her dead father. She looks Jiansheng up at the restaurant and asks for help. Jiansheng refuses to talk about himself, but offers to introduce her to Daxiong. Xiaofen suspects Jiansheng is a childhood friend and tests him. (Source: 8 Days) 增土发现曦怡坐轮椅，大感震惊，以为是瀚哲没有好好照顾曦怡，怒揍瀚哲。曦怡气愤阻止，后与瀚哲离去。瀚哲找增土，把曦怡受伤的经过告诉他。增土高兴原来曦怡选择的是自己，对瀚哲的气度也敬佩不已。增土和瀚哲找曦怡，两男表示不管曦怡选择的是谁，他们都不会给曦怡压力，曦怡既感动又无奈。若其获知湘云辞了职，要到孤儿院去当义工。为求湘云的谅解，若其捐款给湘云。湘云表示感情和捐款是两回事，还是坚持若其唯有自首才能得到她的原谅。增土带贾母和增悦探望曦怡，尝试劝曦怡搬回贾家，曦怡婉拒。后贾母和增悦看到来访的瀚哲，担心增土会输掉曦怡。仲贤找到陈添发，陈添发表示根本不屑要金乐的股权，仲贤大喜。但是，陈添发要从成都公干回来才和仲贤签转让书。贾母和宛其叫增悦参加股东大会，增悦担心股权未拿回，问增土，增土信心满满说仲贤一定把股权交回来。增悦便答应了贾母出席股东大会。仲贤突然回来，表示做成生意，危机暂时解除。宛其替仲贤高兴，小两口在海边度过浪漫的一天。仲贤突然出现股东大会，贾母震怒增悦和增土把股权卖给仲贤，表示要高价向仲贤收回股权。仲贤不肯，还说拥有若其和陈添发的股权，很快便能全面掌管金乐。闻之，贾母大受打击。 (Source: Mediacorp Website)

	EPISODE 28
	Xiaofen asks Jiansheng why he has not acknowledged her. Upset that he is lodging at Aili's place, she suggests Uncle Qing to let him stay in their spare room. The Lus will not hear of it. Jiansheng is late for an appointment with Yixin at the karaoke lounge. After her interview, he takes her home. He is sorry about her mother's unstable state. Xiaofen is disappointed when Jiansheng turns down a movie date with her because of Yixin. Xiaofen sees Esther's notice and informs Jiansheng. She trips and falls in her haste and is happy when he stands Yixin up to take her to the hospital. He denies he is Esther's son. Jiansheng is guilt-ridden when Yixin is nearly molested outside the lounge. Jianwei becomes bad-tempered when Peter tells him Joeann is overseas. He quarrels with Esther when she admonishes him for discontinuing the newspaper ad to locate Jiansheng. Jianwei snubs Tracy when he spots Joeann in the streets. Joeann plays hard to get. (Source: 8 Days) 若其承认股份是他转让给仲贤的。贾母气愤众人事先都不和她商量。增悦等人自责太相信仲贤。宛其内疚自己引狼入室，向众人道歉。增土说目前关键人物是陈添发。贾母向众人表示陈添发是不可能帮她的，并将和陈添发的往事告知众人。凤仪问曦怡到底比较喜欢增土还是阿哲。曦怡表示自己自从瘫痪后，深深体会到女人其实不需要依赖男人。况且现在又很享受一个人的生活。若其去找仲贤兴师问罪，欲打仲贤时，宛其出现，阻止了他。仲贤对宛其说出自己的苦衷，说自己在美国的投资失利，而金乐起了小补作用。宛其要仲贤放过金乐，仲贤不肯。宛其气愤。曦怡把手上的股份归还给贾母。而增悦和曦怡都决定回金乐帮忙。陈添发和曦怡用餐。陈添发重提认曦怡为干女儿的事。曦怡本想拒绝，最后终于答应。若其听见贾母和增悦的对话，再想起和玉其的一些相处片段，感到难过、内疚。湘云拿着若其所送的项链，正思念若其。此时，若其来到。湘云向若其道歉，表示自己的态度有些过分。若其表示是他自己的错，并且一定会去自首，才能对得起良心。若其表示如果自己坐牢，要湘云不要等他。湘云却拉起若其的手，帮自己戴上项链，表示自己一辈子都是若其的人，两人紧紧相拥。仲贤向宛其要财政报告。宛其表示现在负责的人是增悦，自己无能为力。陈添发开除了一名叫蔡一明的员工。蔡一明愤愤不平离去。之后，贾母和若其来访。陈添发指桑骂槐，表示不想见任何贾家的人。贾母叫陈添发师父，陈添发冷冷表示自己没有这样的福分。陈添发和曦怡用餐。曦怡发现陈添发心情不佳，表示关心。陈添发说是因为见到了仇人。曦怡却劝陈添发，应该要学习放下。陈添发却认为有些事情是放不下的。陈添发回去时，见贾母和若其还在等。贾母道歉，求陈添发原谅。陈添发认为贾母没有诚意，贾母居然跪下！ (Source: Mediacorp Website)

	Jianwei becomes Joeann’s neighbour. He spends so much time trying to court her that he neglects his work and is reprimanded by Esther. Uncle Qing suspects Jiansheng has taken his cheque. Even though Jiansheng finds and returns it, Uncle Qing still refuses to rent a room out to him. Jianwei and Tracy are dining at Uncle Qing’s restaurant. Xiaofen is puzzled that Jiansheng seems very interested in Jianwei. Daxiong gets Xiaohong to keep the drunk Jiansheng company. In a daze, Jiansheng reveals his parentage. Aili encourages Jiansheng to court Yixin. Xiaohong contacts Esther and asks for $50000 in exchange for information about Jiansheng. Daxiong stops Xiaohong, but not before Esther notices the name of a karaoke lounge from the matchbox Xiaohong leaves behind. Esther looks Daxiong up at the lounge; he refuses to say anything. Jiansheng goes to Esther’s rescue when she is robbed outside the lounge. 贾母跪下。若其和陈添发愕然。贾母说出自己的懊悔，然而陈添发并不原谅贾母，还当众羞辱她。贾母老泪纵横。若其搀扶贾母回家。贾母道出内心的三个遗憾，表示人绝对不能做错事，否则心中永远有遗憾，永远有愧疚。若其试探，倘若自己做错事，贾母会否原谅自己。贾母表示一定会。若其带湘云玩了一天。增悦等若其回来。奇才劝增悦去休息。若其回到家后，开口叫增悦姑姑。增悦感动万分。若其向家人说出真相，决定去自首。众人震惊。若其对贾母深感抱歉，但也指出贾母说过无论如何都会原谅自己的。贾母难过。若其自首前，湘云及时赶到，两人紧紧相拥。两人紧握的手渐渐松开。若其走进了警局。三人开会，商量对策，决定买下仲贤的股票。仲贤来到，增悦提出建议。仲贤表示自己隔日会和陈添发签约，三日后，股份就正式属于自己。如果曦怡等人可以在明日之前筹足钱，自己当然不介意把股份卖回给贾母。陈添发垂钓。增土前来，表明身份。陈添发冷言冷语。增土向他分析厉害，表明倘若金乐被卖，将有许多人失业。而且，仲贤打算把台湾的土地卖给不法商人，开设化学厂，将会影响附近的居民。陈添发虽然不理不睬，心中却已对增土另眼相看。增悦表示银行贷款根本没有办法在一天内批准，自己徒劳无功。增土回来，也表示失败。三人失望。瀚哲来等曦怡，被增土看到，失落地自行离去。曦怡和瀚哲用餐，巧遇陈添发。三人一起用餐，添发玩笑称瀚哲乃曦怡男朋友。瀚哲率先否认，表明只是在追求。此时，有人上前和曦怡打招呼。添发得知曦怡身份，非常气愤。当得知曦怡和增土已离婚，添发则称赞曦怡做得好。曦怡帮贾母求情，添发翻脸离开。陈添发去祭拜妻子。曦怡前来，劝陈添发放下过去。陈添发表示自己的恨没有这么容易放得下。曦怡说了个佛教典故。陈添发沉吟。添发和仲贤见面。添发故意试探仲贤有关台湾那两块土地的事。仲贤透露有商人有兴趣发展化学厂。添发表面上不动神色，暗地里却自有打算。添发故意拖延，不和仲贤签约。仲贤失望，却拿他没辙。贾母去向陈添发道谢，见蔡一明用刀攻击陈添发，上前帮忙挡... 	Concerned about his mother’s safety, Jianwei promises to get a friend to find Jiansheng. Bai Cai becomes envious when Xiaofen hails Jiansheng a hero. Jianwei learns Jiansheng is an ex-convict and becomes certain he is out to cheat Esther. Xiaofen forces her parents to let Jiansheng move into their house. Aili urges an unhappy Yixin to win him over before it is too late. Jianwei meets Joeann at a pub and is surprised when she reveals she is living with an older man. Jianwei is stunned to find out Tracy and Joeann are friends. Jiansheng and Xiaofen are in charge of catering the buffet for Esther’s birthday party. They are taken aback to see Joeann, who bears a close resemblance to Yixin. Esther comes to realise Jiansheng is her long-lost son. 贾母灵位前，陈添发大感内疚。贾家众人表示贾母应该已了无遗憾。仲贤拜祭贾母。宛其劝仲贤放弃，说也许贾母的死会改变目前的情况。仲贤表示只要有一线希望，自己就不会放弃，即使提高收购价也在所不惜。宛其对仲贤心灰意冷。金乐股东会议开始。陈添发出现将自己手中的股份以10元卖回给贾家。仲贤颓然。陈添发和曦怡用餐时，添发险些滑倒。曦怡见状，冲上前扶陈添发。陈添发惊讶不已。曦怡告知其实自己已经康复，只是因为某些因素，所以没有告诉大家。陈添发了解，直言曦怡必定是想逃避，不想去面对增土和瀚哲之间的问题，劝曦怡应该坦然面对。增土和曦怡经过鞋店橱窗时，曦怡看中一双鞋子。增土鼓励曦怡买下。曦怡表示美丽的鞋子对现在的自己来说，毫无意义。增土送曦怡之前看中的鞋子。曦怡感动。然而，曦怡心中又存在着矛盾。曦怡告知增土自己仍然无法忘记增土的背叛，伤痕依然存在。增土无奈。仲贤将金乐的股份还给宛其，但宛其对仲贤已经失望。宛其把分居协议书交给仲贤。增悦和奇才接玉其出狱。三人相拥。玉其拜祭贾母，遗憾没有见到贾母最后一面。玉其透露将和父母一同到泰国去找悠儿。回来后，就会到金乐去上班，学习如何成为继承人。曦怡生日，同时约了增土和瀚哲。曦怡翩翩到来，增土和瀚哲这才知道曦怡已经复原。曦怡独自到台湾散心。瀚哲出现，责备曦怡逃避，不肯面对，并表示自己不会放弃。此时，曦怡接到宛其来电，得知增土失踪，紧张不已，不停拨电找增土。瀚哲看在眼里，知道曦怡仍然心系增土。瀚哲送曦怡回去。瀚哲表示想要最后一个拥抱。两人相拥的画面被增土看见。此时，曦怡和瀚哲注意到增土。增土勉强对瀚哲一笑。瀚哲离开。曦怡走向增土，增土静静看着曦怡，两人无言…… (Source: Mediacorp Website)
