EPISODE 1
Jiang Peixiang, a Chinese physician, and his wife, Liu Yujuan, have two daughters and a son. Elder daughter Xinyu helps out in the shop and is studying Chinese medicine. She is kind but ugly. Second daughter Xinhui is smart and pretty, and is a famous artiste.

The Jiangs dote on Xinhui, who is a willful and spoilt child. They also indulge their son, Zhiheng, an undergraduate who loves rock music. Xinyu, being neglected, often feels her parents are unfair.

Xinhui has a multitude of suitors. Xinyu is left feeling decidedly inferior, as she hardly even gets to attend a matchmaking session.

Xinyu treasures a chain she received when she was 12. She had saved a boy from drowning in a pond. He was emigrating, but promised to buy her a watch to compensate for the one he had broken. Xinyu dreams of him returning to be with her.

Xinhui is picked by Vino Health’s general manager, Chen Hansheng, to be the company’s spokesperson. She trains under Qin Shixuan for the ad’s ice-skating segment and is peeved when the latter caused her to fall.

Zhiheng gets involved in a fight and is arrested at Peixiang’s birthday celebration. He runs away after being slapped by his father outside the police station.

Xinyu goes after her brother and is knocked down by Shixuan’s car. Shixuan had been having a tiff with his girlfriend, Monica, in the car.    (Source: 8 Days)

江欣妤长得其貌不扬、又不会妆扮，年近30还嫁不出去，因此经常参加相亲活动。今天，她又抱着一点点希望参加舞会，男士们见到她的模样都纷纷吓跑，最后要求一对一会面，结果也被外在条件不好的男人嫌弃，令原本自卑的欣妤更自卑。

江欣慧是江欣妤的妹妹，长相刚好跟姐姐相反，漂亮大方、是个当红艺人。今天，她被安排去学滑雪以便拍摄广告。就在秦世轩在认真教导欣慧时，他的女朋友Monica突然出现，使到世轩分心而导致欣慧摔倒，使欣慧对世轩留下了坏印象。

今天是江沛翔生日，玉娟几乎打烂电话也找不到小儿子江志恒，沛翔知道后生气的说不用找了。之后，欣妤好不容易找到了志恒，不料他却在这时候为了帮朋友而卷入殴斗中，欣妤在混乱中为了救志恒而被打伤了脸。

晚上，给爸爸沛翔庆祝生日，就在一家人其乐融融之际，有警察上门找志恒，要他回警察局协助调查一起殴斗案件，沛翔闻言色变。就在警察局外，沛翔忍不住痛骂志恒，志恒顶撞，沛翔怒不可遏打了志恒一个耳光。

另一方面，Monica借酒向世轩示爱，世轩却对她若即若离，Monica恼羞成怒，当场发脾气，丢掉世轩的车匙，跟世轩起了争执。二人在争执中，刚好欣妤追志恒经过，被世轩撞倒，滚下斜坡。   (Source: Mediacorp Website)

EPISODE 2
Mesmerised by Shixuan’s handsome face, Xinyu does not criticize him for causing the accident.

Shixuan takes the drunk Monica home. His aunt, Jingshan, flies into a rage.

Jingshan manages Vino health’s business in Asia, while her brother, Fuzhong, handles the American market. Shixuan detests his father for his mother’s fate and refuses to take over the business.

Shixuan treats Jingshan as his mother, as it was she who brought him up after his mother disappeared.

The next morning, Shixyuan takes Monica to a clinic and asks Hansheng to stand in for him as Xinhui’s coach. However, he rushes back to the skating rink, which leads Monica to presume he has dumped her for Xinhui.

Wang Anxiang is an employee at the medical shop. He is hardworking and gets along well with Xinyu. A Penang boy, he is saving up to marry his sweetheart, Vivian Shen Feifei. When Feifei turns up to visit him, he hands over all the money he has put aside for his grandmother, as well as for their wedding.

Xinhui is incredulous when Monica tells the media that she has snatched her boyfriend away. Trying to help her sister, Xinyu realizes Shixuan is the boy she had saved.   (Source: 8 Days)

世轩跟喝醉的Monica起争执，不小心把经过身边的欣妤撞落斜坡，世轩赶紧上前扶，欣妤原本想发作，看见是个帅哥，怒气顿时烟消云散。

世轩带喝醉的Monica回家，Monica呕吐，世轩耐心地照顾。当世轩把肮脏的毛巾洗好出来时，却发现Monica不知所踪。姑姑景珊不悦地从房里出来，说Monica就在她房里，世轩尴尬，进去把Monica扶回客房。次日早上，世轩跟景珊吃早餐时，Monica病恹恹出来，后来还昏倒，世轩赶忙送她去看医生。

由于带Monica看医生，世轩耽误了教欣慧滑雪的时间，欣慧很生气，临时充当助理的欣妤开解，反而被欣慧骂。世轩见自己赶不及来教课，也临时请好友汉生充当教练。

在汉生的教导下，欣慧很快就学上手。与此同时，富有责任感的世轩始终放心不下学生，便让Monica自己看医生，他则赶回去滑雪场，Monica大为不快，悄悄跟去，发现世轩撇下生病的她为的竟然是欣慧，顿时醋意大起。

安祥的女朋友霏霏从家乡槟城出来约见面，安祥开心，与霏霏到小贩中心吃午饭，霏霏嫌弃肮脏闷热，安祥安慰，还把给奶奶的生活费及准备结婚的钱交给霏霏。这时霏霏接到手机短信，神色有点异样，安祥却没察觉。

在滑雪场拍广告当日，欣慧在Monica的陷害下把拍摄搞砸了，欣慧找Monica理论，被记者撞见。Monica得意洋洋离开时，被欣慧的一个疯狂影迷殴伤。Monica借机向媒体爆料说欣慧抢她的男朋友，还唆使人打伤她。欣妤赶到医院要帮欣慧解释，结果却在无意中发现世轩就是她小时候救过的小男孩。  (Source: Mediacorp Website)

EPISODE 3
Monica is disappointed when Shixuan confronts her about the fiasco. She leaves him.

Head-over-heels in love with Xinhui, Hansheng is happy when both Shixuan and Jingshan agree to hire her as the company’s spokesperson.

Jingshang tries to persuade Shixuan to help his father manage the company. He refuses, as he cannot forget how his mother had disappeared after being sent to an asylum for depression.

Jingshan is glad Shixuan and Monica have broken up.

Xinyu feels she has found in Shixuan the man she has been waiting for. However, she cannot bring herself to acknowledge him. When he turns up at the medical hall to thank her for some ointment, she hides. Anxiang senses something amiss.

Xinyu finds out that Feifei has a new boyfriend. Afraid Anxiang will be devastated, she urges him to return home to visit his grandmother and Feifei.

Xinyu asks Xinhui to hand the chain to Shixuan and remind him of the past. Xinhui doubts if he will have any recollection of the event.

Xinyu saves the homeless Jingjing from her creditors and even promises to help her repay her loan. She persuades Yujuan to let Jingjing put up at their home for a few days.

世轩质问Monica为何如此肯定是欣慧派人打伤她的，二人起了冲突，世轩跟Monica摊牌，Monica心如刀割，反问为什么不承认是世轩看上了欣慧。Monica在心灰意冷之下，终于决定离开世轩。

汉声对欣慧有意思，有意要找她当公司的产品代言人，欣慧得悉汉生是跨国公司的总经理后，对汉生的印象更加好。另一方面，世轩也向汉生提议用欣慧当代言人，由于有世轩的建议，景珊也就答应了。

另一方面，欣妤见世轩就是自己朝思暮想的人，又喜又自卑，不敢相认，甚至世轩到药材店要向她道谢，她也躲起来不敢相见。安祥问是否喜欢上世轩，欣妤又否认。

欣妤无意间发现霏霏有新的男朋友，想跟安祥讲，看见安祥对未来充满了憧憬，担心他说出实情，安祥会受不了打击，于是鼓励他回家乡探望奶奶。

晶晶欠人钱被债主追砍，好心的欣妤解围，还替她还钱。后来，发现晶晶是个无家可归的孤儿，欣妤便请她回家暂住。玉娟原本反对，可是在欣妤的哀求下，只得勉强答应让晶晶暂住两天。

汉生要当欣慧和世轩的调解人，可是欣慧对世轩始终没有好印象。可是无意中从他口中获悉世轩赫然是大集团的未来接班人后，又从欣妤口中得知世轩就是欣妤当年救起的小男孩后，便开始有了新的盘算……   (Source: Mediacorp Website)

EPISODE 4
Xinhui shows Shixuan the chain Xinyu has given her. She makes him presume she is the girl who had saved him. Thrilled, he takes her out for a meal. Hansheng is jealous to see him chatting happily.

The Jiangs are discussing how they can celebrate Xinyu’s birthday. Though she does not like spicy food, she agrees with Xinhui’s suggestion that they have a spicy meal.

Xinhui is surprised when Shixuan turns up with flowers for her. He has remembered Xinyu’s birthday, even after all these years.

Xinhui decides not to attend Xinyu’s celebration and goes out with Shixuan instead. When she realizes her family is dining at the same Thai restaurant, she lies to Xinyu and then drags Shixuan out of the place before the Jiangs see her.

Xinhui is impressed by how Shixuan remembers every detail of the near-drowning. She has no intention of telling him the truth.

Back home, she is about to open the present he has given her when Xinyu returns. Xinyu presumes the present is for her and is happy it is an expensive watch.

Anxiang returns from his hometown and reveals how his grandmother has had to borrow money because Feifei did no hand over his savings. He is sorely disappointed in his fiancée.

Jingjing arranges for Xinyu to meet Shixuan. Xinyue discovers that Shixuan thinks it is Xinhui who had saved him.    (Source: 8 Days)

欣慧帮欣妤拿金属饰物还给世轩，世轩误以为她就是欣妤，这是在欣慧的计划之中，自然冒充到底，世轩不疑有他，开心地请欣慧吃饭，正好汉生带客户来吃饭，见到原本对世轩有成见的欣慧不但跟世轩吃饭，还言谈甚欢，不禁产生醋意。

欣妤生日到了，家人打算替她庆祝，大家讨论庆祝方式，决定去吃辣椒大餐，怕吃辣的欣妤虽然心里不愿，也只好迁就，晶晶把欣妤的委曲求全和善良全看在眼里。

欣慧拍广告时，世轩送花还祝她生日快乐，欣慧知道世轩记得的是欣妤的生日，因此虽然感到不自在，也继续假冒。世轩表示要带欣慧去用餐，欣慧为了跟世轩一起，索性决定不赴家人的餐会。世轩带欣慧去吃泰国餐，就在点菜时，欣妤来电催欣慧快点，欣慧才惊觉原来家人也在同一间餐馆出现，机智的她总算化险为夷。

晚上，欣慧准备打开世轩送的礼物来看时，正好欣妤回来。欣妤误以为礼物是欣慧要送给她的，欣慧只好称是。欣妤拆开礼物，赫然是名贵手表，欣妤兴奋，欣慧却心痛不已。

安祥从家乡回来后心事重重，原来霏霏没有把生活费交给奶奶，导致奶奶得向邻居借钱度日。安祥质问霏霏，霏霏趁机提分手，安祥哀求，霏霏也没有坚持，安祥以为危机解除了。为了给霏霏安全感，安祥买戒指向霏霏求婚，不料霏霏的新男朋友出现。

EPISODE 5
Xinyu is upset by her sister’s actions. Instead of feeling remorseful, Xinhui lashes out at her and criticizes her looks.

Jingjing urges Xinyu to tell Shixuan the truth, but Xinyu cannot bring herself to do so.

Xinyu hurts her ankle during her ice-skating class. Xinhui is jealous when Shixuan tends to her sister’s injury.

Xinyu tells Jingjing she is happy to be platonic friends with Shixuan. She is even willing to give Xinhui her blessings.

Xinhui keeps bragging about dating Shixuan and takes every opportunity to insult Xinyu.

Xinyu confides in Anxiang about being betrayed by her own sister. Anxiang empathises.

While out filming, Xinhui turns down a date with Hansheng. She ends up being abducted by a crazy fan.

Xinyu meets Shixuan and is happy when he asks her out for a meal.

Xinhui is tied up by her crazy fan but manages to escape. After filing a police report, she learns Xinyu was out having a meal with Shixuan when she had tried to get his help.

Flying into a rage, Xinhui yells at Xinyu.

欣妤心痛妹妹所为。欣慧为了让欣妤知难而退，无情的以她的容貌伤害她的自尊心。晶晶要欣妤去找世轩说清楚真相，但欣妤见到世轩却说不出口。世轩教欣妤滑雪，结果摔跤。欣慧赶到，欣妤知道她来的用意，与晶晶先行离去。欣妤向晶晶表示跟世轩这样做个朋友也蛮好，就算欣慧出自私心，她也只能祝福她。欣慧从世轩口中得知欣妤什么都没说，才松了口气。

玉娟提相亲之事，欣妤不作声。欣慧有意无意炫耀世轩是自己的男朋友。欣慧说话刺伤欣妤，欣妤坦言从不敢想跟世轩怎么样。欣妤向安祥略说出被欣慧出卖的事，自嘲自己怎么能跟妹妹相提并论，安祥听出她内心的矛盾，两人彼此安慰，友情更进一步。

欣慧在拍摄外景，汉生来约她吃晚餐，欣慧冷言拒绝。后欣慧被疯狂影迷拐走，欣妤与陈先生相亲，发现他很大男人主意，还开出许多婚后的遵守条件，欣妤借口身体不舒服离开。欣妤遇到世轩，世轩邀请她吃饭。

欣慧醒来，发现自己被疯狂影迷五花大绑，大惊失色。世轩提起相亲之事，认为现在时代不同，不要勉强自己。欣慧发现疯狂影迷对自己很仰慕，暗自找机会脱险。玉娟打电话给欣妤问相亲的事，欣妤心烦。欣慧好不容易打给欣妤求救，欣妤以为是妈妈打来，按掉电话。欣慧只好打给世轩，却被疯狂影迷阻止。疯狂影迷对着欣慧发脾气，欣慧企图逃跑，挣扎间衣服被撕破了。欣慧最终将他打晕，得以脱险。

欣慧录完口供，得知世轩和欣妤吃饭，对欣妤不听电话的事耿耿于怀。父母知道欣慧被疯狂影迷囚禁受伤，感到紧张。二人当世轩是欣慧的男朋友，欣妤看在眼里。欣慧向欣妤兴师问罪，生气她见死不救，欣妤解释不果，连家人也误解她。

欣妤借酒消愁，向安祥控诉命运弄人，自己为家里付出最多，从小什么事都让妹妹，可是欣慧却完全不顾及自己的感受，晶晶同情落泪。欣妤决定把世轩借给自己的书还给他，免得欣慧又误会。晶晶见她处处为妹妹着想，很感动。

欣慧来找世轩吃饭，发现欣妤来还书，认为姐姐别有居心，欣妤不想多说，欣慧不放弃，还说出羞辱欣妤的重话，这时一辆车驶过来，欣妤推开欣慧，姐妹双双晕了过去。医生帮欣妤检查，欣妤醒来的第一件事就是关心妹妹欣慧的情况，可是这时候的欣妤已经变成欣慧了！   (Source: Mediacorp Website)
